We (Andy, Holly and Jimmy) took a trip to Houston for 4 days. Man it was hot!! So different than the heat in Miami, but it was worth it to see family.
We were able to make a surprise visit to some of Andy's family: Dad (Sergio), Step-mom (Jessica), and sister (Nataly pictured above).
We got 2 c animals @ the Houston Zoo
& went to The Museum of Medical & Natural Science in downtown Houston..During the Museum visit we were able to c how we would look in 20 to 40 yrs (it was really funny), we got to walk on Mars (Andy above), saw a cool and disturbing 4D movie about germs, & we went through a maze of the human body (it was pretty interesting).
We were lucky enough to b able to visit Minute Maid Park Stadium and watch the Florida Marlins play against the Houston Astros. The stadium was really nice, Andy was like a kid in a candy shop, he had a blast.. It was a lot of fun to see him and his father and brother cheering for the Marlins side by side.
Also while we were there we surprised my little brother (Kyle), wife (Sarah), and we got to meet my new baby nephew Ryder. Ryder is so cute and I am really glad we were able to meet him. He is just amazing, I couldn't stop starring at him. It is an awesome feeling to be an aunt for the first time. Andy & I are both very happy for them as new parents and we were glad we got to spend time with them during the first couple of days of their babies life. We were able to see him for a little while in the hospital the day after he was born, then we got to spend about 4-5 hours with Ryder, Kyle and Sarah the day they came home from the hospital.
I love surprises!!!! It was so hard to keep quiet, but a lot of fun for Andy & I to surprise our families and to visit Houston again.
